The problem of water shortage had been talked many years,and I believe that everyone could understand the importance of water in daily life,but whether we have taken effective actions to protect and save the water?I think we don not,at least not completely.We have the consciousness of saving water,but not put this consciousness into our daily action.Why?The main reason is that the situation of water shortage is not close to us in the past years.Although everyday we call for saving waters ,we do not really suffer from the situations of water shortage in Yunnan province,and we don not have the sense of water shortage urgency.Of course we have no pressure from water shortage. Therefore we don not put the sense of saving water into our action.
Now Yunnan province is suffering the serious drought,and the hot weather have caused the drinking water problem in many areas.I think this drought will strengthen the sense of saving waters in many people's mind.If we could pull this sense into practice,we could live better in the future.

I think this drought should bring us something,and we also should think about something.

Well, you can always blame global warming. The influx of greenhouse gases causes the change of global climate, which in turn causes severe weather conditions in different areas. While Yunan is suffering from the draught, other parts of the country are fighting with flood.  How ironic!

There seems to be more natural hazards nowadays than before. El Nino, hurricane, sand wind.... you name it! Of course, people should always be conscious about conserving water; but that is just one factor in solving the imminent environmental crisis. I would suggest everyone watching AL Gore's inconvenient truth. You can definitely learn something about environmental conservation from him.
